This company is supplying my smokeless coal needs in York. I have visited the Yard twice, very organised, nice and tidy. Owner is very good with knowledge and advice, good range of fuels for different appliances, We can collect from the yard in 25kg sealed bags, or have delivered to home. Owner has own bagging facility for different solid fuels. I have also purchased small net bags of logs, and the all important sacks of chopped sticks, to rekindle the fire in the morning before going to work. Very pleased with Horwell Brothers.

No messing about with fancy sales techniques here - massive piles of reasonably priced coal and smokeless fuel, tell them how much you want and you'll get it. You can buy in various sized bags and take it home yourself, or get it delivered. The quality and value is much, much better than you'll get from a petrol station or from a DIY shop - I always go here to get fuel for my fire.
