Intelligently, and with great aplomb - the team consistently surpasses any brief - I’m always astounded by the creative and innovative ways they work with flowers. As growers, they have a deep understanding and appreciation for English flowers, which is impressive. The team are simply the best (and loveliest!) I’ve ever worked with. Thoughtful, talented and passionate people, a visit to the farm and floral studio, is always inspiring. Generous with their knowledge and artistic talent - every arrangement I’ve ordered has been exceptional. HP’s arrangements feel wonderfully naturalistic, using blossom branches and architectural stems that are gathered from their gardens - there is always a delightful surprise in there too. We used Hortus Poeticus for our wedding flowers in June, and they did an absolutely stunning job! They made our venue look incredibly beautiful, and we had so many compliments from guests on the room decorations. They also created gorgeous bouquets and buttonholes for us, and provided some lovely flowers for our wedding cake. We had an initial conversation with Gillie about what we wanted, and she really listened and understood our vision, as well as adding her own knowledge about seasonality and what would work well in our space. We loved the way that Hortus Poeticus grow the majority of their own flowers (with the others all from the UK), and focus so much on seasonal plants. We would definitely recommend using Hortus Poeticus for a wedding or other event - thank you!
