Not the most welcoming of places; looks like a 1960's prison from the outside. I was there for a divorce hearing in Dec 2020 for three days, so my views are based on a number of return visits during this time. The desk staff spent most of the time on their personal phones and were unhelpful when asked about how to contact the Court clerks and ushers - telling visitors in a dismissive tone to just wait around until the clearks appear. For anyone who's unfamiliar with a court, it can be hard to know who is who. REFRESHMENTS - GO PREPARED There is only one vending machine in the court waiting area, when I was there it had a label on it stating it "may not be working" - there's no alternative refreshment facilities in the Court. As people may be waiting around for many hours to be called into the court rooms, go prepared with any food or drinks you may need. NO PARKING - As of December 2020 there is no 'free onsite parking' for visitors - the Court has erected a barrier at the entrances to the car park under the court. Alternative parking is now 300 yards down the road at the sports centre - a 5 minute walk away just beyond the Post Office. Please 'like' if you found this of any help?
