Hadn’t been out paddling since my sea scout years over 25 years ago so decided to give it a go after my daughter had a free taster session with the explorer scouts and loved it! Club coaches and members gave loads of support and encouragement to get me back out on the water and re learning capsize/spray deck drills etc, was back into it in no time! Club has use of nice warm swimming pool near pease pottage for learning capsize drill/rolling in the winter months and they organise several events/ trips away each year. I even ended up on a foundation safety rescue course. Whatever your ability from complete novice to expert the club has the facilities / equipment and coaches to help you on your journey and keep you safe. Friendly and professional bunch of paddlers and great team atmosphere out on the water, Just wish I’d joined years ago!

Friendly and family orientated club that uses Southwater Lake for regular sessions during the summer months interspersed with day trips on rivers around the South East and a few weekend excursions further afield. Several very experienced paddlers are usually on hand and always willing to provide guidance and impart wisdom.
