I contacted horsforth childminding group last Autumn when I was pregnant. Jan was very responsive and answered lots of questions for me about childminding. Jan then set a reminder to check back in with me nearer the time i was looking to start chilcare and I met her in person and she patiently answered a lot more questions. I havent yet used any childcare but will have no reservations about contacting this group when I am ready for a childminder.
