FAQ

What types of boarding options do you offer for horses?

We offer several boarding options for horses, including full board, partial board, and self-care board. Full board includes feeding, daily stall cleaning, and regular turnout, while partial board includes some of these services. Self-care board allows owners to take care of their horses themselves.

How often are the stables cleaned and maintained?

Our stables are cleaned and maintained daily to ensure a clean and healthy environment for the horses. We also conduct regular maintenance and repairs as needed to keep the facility in top condition.

Do you provide feeding and care services for horses or is it the owner's responsibility?

We offer feeding and care services for horses as part of our full and partial board options. However, if an owner chooses self-care board, it is their responsibility to provide all necessary care for their horse.

What kind of training or activities do you offer for horses?

We offer a variety of training and activities for horses, including riding lessons, trail rides, and horse shows. We also have a round pen and outdoor arena for training purposes.

What is your policy for veterinary care in case of an emergency?

In case of an emergency, we immediately contact the horse's owner and their preferred veterinarian. If the owner is unavailable or their preferred veterinarian cannot be reached, we have a list of local veterinarians we can contact. The horse's health and well-being are our top priority in any emergency situation.

I called to book for a weekend of hacking, the woman said she would call me back at 3pm because she didnt have her diary. She kindly said she would call back. It came to 4:30pm and NOTHING. I called, and she CUT MY CALL. So I messaged for an update regarding availability, she did not reply! I had to message again the following day because she still had not got back to me. Its a shame because I saw so many positive reviews but I do not appreciate being ignored. You would think people would show more kindness considering our correct crisis!

Where else? • can you ride truly exceptional forward going and well cared for horses, most of whom event and hunt, without buying your own? • can you ride energetic ex-race horses, on a morning gallop on a south coast beach? • can you take a day ride round the South Downs and experience and view the fabulous countryside from the privileged position of being on a fabulous spirited and fit horse? • can you have a two hour coaching session on a cross country course without having your own or borrowing a friend's horse? • can you have a horse tacked up and boxed for you so you can try out a gallop at a racecourse training track? • can you take a pub ride in the Surrey Hills where horses are so well trained and happy that they just stand calmly in the pub car park while you drink a pint of local ale? I don’t know anywhere else….this is not a riding school, there are no overtired overweight stubborn and bored piebalds who trudge round the same tracks on an hour’s hack at weekends and who only canter when kicked, and no, this is not a place to come and learn to ride…..but if you can ride, well, this is the place to come, and people do, from all over the south east…….but dont tell everybody, I dont want you ALL to come!

Most awful horse riding experience of my life! Would never recommend or return. After clearly stating we were novices and only wanted to go slow, our instructor took us to an open field to canter. I had two panic attacks on top of the horse because I felt completely unsafe and ended up walking on my feet for around 3 miles. Our instructor fell off her uncontrollable horse also. Definitely don’t waste your money!!!

Wow, where to begin with this company .... Unfortunately the lowest rating I can give is one star - this is far too considerate. If I had a choice it would be zero. Please consider this review before ever using this company. This companies level of customer service is some of the worst I've ever come across. Maybe the worst I've had to experience. The owner who runs the company comes across as a self righteous, entitled person who thinks she's fully within her right to not reply to a customer for a whole week, even after several follow-ups and attempts. (I was trying to book a slot for my gift experience I bought earlier in the year)... I then grew tired of waiting for a response and subsequently asked for a refund due to the complete lack of communication, literally no level of service. To my surprise, she was super speedy to respond to that request! She replied; "Our website clearly states that we don’t offer refunds. We postpone/reschedule for any reason to suit our clients. I can’t make a booking without a suggestion of a date. Appreciate that this is not an office based job and the horses and riding takes up the majority of the day." Can you see an apology anywhere in this reply? Can you see any acknowledgement about the poor service? I'll let you be the judge. After looking into this company it was dissolved in March '18 and were re-instated the following February. Now, I wouldn't be surprised if she illegally traded within that period, I also wouldn't be surprised if she illegally traded at the time I had bought my gift voucher. All I'm saying is, I wouldn't trust this company, I wouldn't consider it over other Horse Riding Companies. If you want to risk losing your money, lining this persons pockets who has zero consideration for her customers, then by all means use this company. If you want to save your money and use it more wisely, then i'd suggest steering clear of this company entirely. It's a no from me.
