The optician was very good and professional. My concern was the lack of any customer toilets in the optician and hearing areas. When I asked the reception to use the toilet, I was told they were closed due to misuse by members of the public and it was ‘above their pay grade’ to intervene in a request to have them re-instated. I am dismayed that a possible 1% of the population have caused a customer toilet to close - unacceptable. Any employer dealing with the public should never use the lazy term ‘above my pay grade’. This is social media speak and unnecessary in the service industry. Boots I know you can do much better than this.

Tried to contact the opticians department repeatedly throughout the morning, I have been on the phone for over 10 minutes at a time trying to get through to someone to just have to keep going through the automated options!! It is absolutely ridiculous and so frustrating!!

Tried repeatedly to contact Coney Street Boots Opticians by phone. There is never an answer, just round and round the recorded messages.
