We have been using this takeaway for about 4 years but the last year or so has been very hit and miss. Really disappointed with the 2 cod and chips we had this evening. Batter was so stodgy we couldn't eat it, not crispy at all. Took a long time to be delivered and was not hot when it arrived. Chips were not good either. Actually going to try somewhere else next time. Such a shame.

The most surprising thing about the reviews is that nobody has mentioned the curry sauce! By far the best curry sauce I've ever had from a chip shop. Good chips, beautiful batter on the pea fritter and jumbo sausage. Standard chips are a very decent portion.

Sorry, but was so disappointed! The food I paid for tonight was definitely not worth the money. Takeaway at 5.45 pm should taste freshly cooked but we had to throw chips away as were dry, hard & tasted like they had been heated up from lunchtime. Same for battered sausage. Thank goodness the burger was edible. Definitely won't be back!
