I want to give a big shout out to Julie and Marie! I needed an emergency appointment and i called just before the closing time, Julie was amazing in helping me. She spoke to the nurse and got me an appointment the next morning. Besides her busy schedule, Marie fit me in. I know this is not always going to be possible but at times when its required, you know you can trust the staff to try their best for you. Thank you so much Julie and Marie! I owe you ladies big time!

Since moving to Essex this is the third GP I’ve signed up to and I’ve always had the best experience with them. From the reception team to the doctors they have been so helpful and accommodating which is very rare to find these days. Additionally, the wait times have not been as long as they’ve been compared to other GP’s I’ve been to and cannot rate Hornchurch healthcare more.

This is by far the worst GP practise I have ever encountered. It takes months to get an appointment , they can then call you last minute change it and not see you at a drop of a hat. The customer service is horrible even when given a referral the chemist will send an email they will never contact the patient and after several calls w)by the patient then miraculously have a booking after begging for days. I would discourage anyone from joining if they need regular appointments . It is run like a business not where health comes first ! Shameful place !.

I’ve been registered to this surgery for nearly two years. I have a small baby who is 8 months old spoke to a receptionist with concerns on my babies toilet habits and he asked me to email it through. Next thing you know I get an email in bold and capitals saying they do not accept emails of this nature and they haven’t got any appointments rather than getting me a next day appointment or getting me a call back atleast as I have been worried and it’s about a baby. Extremely rude customer service and extremely disappointed

So far have been with Hornchurch Healthcare for a short time my doctor is amazing and so helpful. Doc is very efficient also. Unfortunately have experienced some rudeness from reception staff this afternoon i had to stop her and ask politely if she could just listen to her patient and previously have experienced rudeness from practice manager on one occasion which i didnt appreciate the way she spoke to me in a room full of patients. This let's the surgery down, however there's some lovely receptionists in the surgery I guess it's who you bump into on the day!!! Doctors are amazing!

The receptionist think they are doctors , think that they can diagnose you over the phone then send you somewhere else .. very unhelpful. Don’t call when they say they are going to call and the surgery is always empty

Great doctors and reception staff. Getting appointment is difficult but that is NHS issue not the surgery. Once you get the appointment the doctors give you a patient hearing and are good with diagnosis.

I love my Doctors surgery. All the doctors and nurses here are very thorough in their diagnosis. They always do their best to help you and refer you on to a specialist if needed. The receptionists are very friendly and always get you in for an appointment as quickly as they can. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you for taking care of me with all my medical problems lately. This clinic carries a group of very good doctors, Dr Barratt, Dr Ranjan and Dr Bari. However, before seeing a doctor, liaising with the receptionists is often a challenge. This is not morally correct having to put up with some ill manners before getting your health issue looked at.
