    Not the best athletics stadium I've been to. The track surface itself is hard. There is not a lot of space at the high jump/cage end, in fact very cramped. You are waiting behind the cage which is not ideal for throwers as there is not enough room either side. The high jump fan is small, with many jumpers starting their run up on the track. In need of TLC however despite this, the competition ran smoothly, with knowledgeable and competent officials.

    Good 6 lane athletics track. Toilets were clean and close to the track. Boundary fence around the track is in need of repair and there a lots of bits of broken chain link fencing to snag your clothes on or catch your shoelaces on.

    I went there for a football match between Hornchurch and Aveley. It was just a short walk from Upminster Bridge station, plenty of pubs and food outlets along the way.Big spacious stadium friendly fans I enjoyed the experience from start to finish
