Horncastle won't be the cheapest quote you get but my god are they worth it. Every dealing with them is friendly, honest and thorough, and their work is immaculate. They installed a new roof for us, and when there were a couple of niggles after installation they were incredible about getting things sorted quickly and with no drama. We really feel looked after, and it's clear that they take pride in what they do which gives massive peace of mind, especially when it comes to something as important as a roof. I noticed on Horncastle & Sons website that they've been trading for over 35 years so we must have used them to reroof our house fairly soon after they set up in business. They have just (in 2023) reroofed our front bay, replacing the guttering and downpipes as well. In the years between these two jobs Horncastles have, on separate occasions, put a complex zinc roof on our rear extension, rebuilt the original parapet walls between us and our neighbours and sorted out an elusive leak around a chimney. So this 5 star review isn't only for the excellent job they have just completed on our front bay window it's for extensive work done over a considerable timespan. High quality work carried out with cheerful, polite, efficiency that has stood the test of time. In short, our experience over 30 odd years is that they're a pleasure to work with and they give you work you can rely on.
