Plea to all.. ••••••••Do Not trust this business••••••• I will leave a more detailed review. I’m currently on hold to the —Fraud Prevention from my bank in regards to this so called business— Honesty if you knew the story you would be sickened. They cater to the the most ‘vulnerable’ And we’re down over 600/700 for a product that never shown up leaving a little girl out of pocket and stuck in her wheelchair - ( baring in mind ) she’s fully wheelchair bound. And as a result couldn’t change her nappy. Prone to sores I will happily write a more in-depth review once we have this matter settled and will happily keep sharing so hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone in a similar situation

We turned to Mobility Hire when a family relative was involved in an accident requiring a hospital bed at home so they were able to be discharged from the hospital. The process was really easy to complete and with plenty of communication the rented items were delivered on-time by their really helpful team who also set this up nicely and explained in detail how to use it. Once we were ready for the rented equipment to be returned, a time for collection was given and was picked up promptly. I am very impressed by the service that was received overall from Mobility Hire / Horizon Mobility and would thoroughly recommend to anyone who finds themselves, friends or family in a position where they require their services. Keep up the good work!

I would not recommend to use this company Mobility hire and Horizon Mobility Ltd they're the same people.. This company just take advantage of vulnerable disabled people, it is disgusting. I hired a powerchair but was told I did not need an assesment to ensure that it would be right for me as they ensure it would be set up to my correct measurements that i had to take and provide myself. First they delivered it and the guy looked me up and down and said "it's not for you is it!?", which was incredibly offensive made me feel awful & embarrassed, that is disability discrimination/harrassment. Then he clearly was not properly trained as he could not figure out how to amend the chair to fit my measurements (which was supposed to have been done before they brought it to me but it was not!) he spent 3hrs in my house on the phone very loudly and angrily talking to people saying he couldn't do it over & over again and spoke to multiple people on the phone who tried to talk him through how to sort it. It was the most uncomfortable upsetting & stressful 3hrs. In the end he gave up and took it away and I had to make more phone calls to reschedule delivery. They assured me when it would be delivered again they would set it up to my correct measurenents before redelivery. After a few days it was delivered again with that awful guy and an extra guy. I felt very intimidated due to my existing experiemce with him and me being a vulnerable disabled female on my own i just accepted the chair & hoped that they had set it up properly this time. Then it rained for 5 days straight so I didn't get to try it properly until it had stopped raining, after i used it i realised it was still not set up to my measurements correctly, armrests arent high enough and seat depth not correct and seat height way too high so it was causing me great pain to use. I had to stop using it due to this and also that it is extremely rickety and wobbly and does not go up the 8-10cm kerbs as advertised, it gets stuck! plus the front wheels kept catching on the footrests too, so its just not safe for me to use.. I emailed the lady who took my order etc and she told me I needed to email another department to try sort, which I did. But still no reply and no contact, they're still taking payments though. I have now arranged it with my bank that so that they cant take any further payments in the hope that they will finally contact me to sort these issues out. I am also in the process of recieving legal advice as I do not appreciate being caused physical and emotional pain. Just do not use this company whatever you do. Mobility hire and Horizon Mobility Ltd theyre the same people.

As if someone needing a wheelchair for next day delivery isn't having a hard enough time, they don't even follow through. It got to about 2pm the day of delivery and I contacted them asking if I could get a time slot to expect to recieve it. I find out its no longer being delivered today at all. Absolutely would not recommend

Currently trying to resolve an issue with recieving the wrong item. I was initially spoken down to by Patricia on the customer service team and I am very unhappy with the service received especially considering the gross mistake made by the company. No customer should be dealt with or spoken to how Patricia spoke to me. The issue has now been resolved after being escalated to the manager who was considerate and kind; however I would not recommend to order from this company if you are an elderly or terminally ill person with no family or someone to speak up and fight for you.

User beware. Only give it 1 star because I got a refund. I hired a wheelchair for minimum term of 2 weeks. When the package was opened we noticed what looked like white stains on the seat and the left hand foot support strap was incorrectly fitted ( a neighbour kindly put it right for us ). The first time we used it the left wheel buckled underneath and I nearly fell out if the chair. Luckily enough there were people in hand to help my wife get me and the broken chair back to my car. It was humiliating and dangerous. On inspection it was found that screws were loose on both front wheels. On contacting customer services they apologised and refunded my money. In addition they admitted the white on the seat was chemical residue from an unfinished cleaning process. They also said the chair was supposed to have been sent to the service dept for repair but was sent to me instead ! When trying to take it further the shutters went up and they went on the defensive. I was told I could try but as there was no damage and no one got hurt they doubted if I would qualify for any further compensatiion.They didn't even offer a replacement chair free of charge for the remainder of the hire period. It just shows the mentality of the company.
