I have a six foot fence, raised on top of a four foot wall and supported by wooden godfathers built into the wall. During the recent storms, 2 of the godfathers snapped making the fence unstable and dangerous. I contacted Hopwood Garden Services on Monday, they came and looked at the problem the same day and promised to return on Wednesday to do the job. They arrived on time, put in 7 concrete godfathers and made my fence completely secure, completed some additional corner fencing and tidied up some of the rear fence - all in a day. I can't speak to highly of the service, professionalism and value for money.

We needed our driveway enlarged and very stubborn trees removed to accommodate another car, Matt, Simon and the lads have done a fabulous job, they were punctual every day, were very hard working, efficient and left driveway tidy each evening, giving us the result we were looking for! We have just had our garden completely re-landscaped by the Hopwood Garden Service team. They arrived every day on time no matter what the weather conditions. They worked incredibly hard it was back breaking work digging out in the pouring rain but they just kept on working. It was not only the effort they put in everyday but their politeness, attention to detail plus professionalism with which they transformed our garden into the design we had agreed. They gave us great advice when we met them to discuss our options for the design of our garden, which looking at the final outcome was advice well worth taking. A big thanks to Matt and his team for creating a garden we can enjoy for years to come.

Having been recommended Matt and Hopwood Gardening services from a friend at work who’d had a patio laid I asked for a quote for a recessed manhole cover to be fitted. I had been let down by three other people (guessing as the job was small) I’d emailed a few local companies. Not only was Matt the first to reply, as he was ahead on a job was able to fit me in the next day! The work was completed to a very high standard, before I have even received any other response from any of the other companies! I’m over the moon that the patio is now finished off and cannot thank Matt and his team enough for taking the same amount of detail in the smaller work as they would in their larger jobs.

Having discussed my requirements with Matt, the guys did a fabulous job laying a large patio in the back garden. They had previously put up fencing so I knew they would do a great job. They turned up on time, worked like trojans all day and went above and beyond, including taking some off the gate to make sure it doesn't stick. They also cleaned up including sweeping the footpath. As I said to the lads, I think the patio is better built than the house! Can't recommend them enough.

An initial visit to our garden was made and the job described and quotation made. Dates easily arranged for the work to be carried out and the team arrived promptly and set to. They worked all day long and the job was mostly finished by the end of the day. An hour on Day 2 saw the job completed to a high standard. At all times , they were courteous and very professional and I would have no hesitation in recommending Hopwood Garden and Landscaping Services as a reliable and hard working set of people.
