This was one of the most disappointing trips of my life. My friend's birthday had been ruined and I am still recovering from the shock. We came to this camping site to celebrate my friend's birthday and to spend a quiet evening singing some songs, playing guitar and talking by the campfire. And all was good up until the time, when the host stormed at us at 11pm shouting that we were disturbing other guests. Mind you we were the only people in the field and the nearest tent was over 100 m away! And even if we were loud (which we weren't, we had checked and when you are at the other side of the field you cannot hear anything!), coming at us with rude language, shouting racist things and even at some point she went at my friend with the phrase "stop looking at me!". All of us were sitting there in shock as at no point there had been even a slightest opportunity to have a dialogue with the host. It seemed like she came at us purely to tell us off, shout at us and to humiliate. I have never experienced such an abuse. And at no point in my life will I ever come back to that field. This is not the way to treat your guests.

The host is extremely rude and unwelcoming, she made us feel extremely unsafe and basically spoiled our camping getaway. We have been camping with this host on 30 April. First, the lady appeared when we were quietly enjoying the evening by the campfire, playing guitar and singing, using abusive and racist language (some of the guests were from Eastern Europe) and claimed there was some payment issue and we were not allowed to sing after 22:30. The nearest neighbour was in about hundred meters and clearly the host was irritated with the guests for no apparent reason and not the noise, which was barely audible even from a small distance. Secondly, she appeared in the morning, threatening us in front of little kids (“This is my land! Get away from my land!”) The checkout time was at 11:00 and this happened at 11:10 when we were already clearly leaving the field. At some point we were thinking of calling the police, but decided to leave without any further argument as little kids were involved. Unfortunately, I was not the person who booked this camping via AirBnb and can’t lodge a formal complaint through the service, but me and my friends felt that she ruined the camping night for us. Even though the place is picturesque, I can’t recommend it to anyone, as such hosts should not be allowed to run the service.

My recent trip to a campsite left me feeling very unhappy. The owner, a woman, was unfriendly and showed no respect to campers, not even bothering to introduce herself. We were chased out by her when the time came to leave, as if we were intruding on her land and she had all the authority to make her own rules. I would not recommend this place to anyone as it was unpleasant and uncomfortable.

Had an overnight stay on 15th April. Everything was exactly as specified online and more. Huts were pristine clean, very pretty and warm and cosy. Kellie thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. Location was lovely, safe and secure. Would 100% recommend and will be returning. Nearby activities: Local pub in Wadhurst..lively and delicious food. Bewley Water very close for a great walk. Lots of shops in Tunbridge

Me and my partner stayed last weekend. I must say it was beautiful the best camping experience I've had. To be out with the stars but but with the comforts still there was the best. Kelly and Steve was so kind and helpful.... Every little thing thought of. 10 of of 10 and highly recommended. Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Location : 5/5 … More

We were so lucky to find Hopgarden Glamping for a last minute stay. Daisy welcomed us as we arrived and showed us to our bell tent. The location of the tent was great and it was beautifully presented. Super clean and cosy. It was great having our own toilet and shower cubicle and having one kitchen shared between two bell tents. Nothing was too much trouble and Daisy went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. I would 100% return to Hopgarden and i will definitely be staying longer than one night next time, hopefully bringing more family members with us.

Wow what a fantastic 2 nights stay we had at Hop Garden Glamping! We stayed in one of the Bell Tents which was superb and situated in such a beautiful setting, it was so comfortable and had everything suited for our needs, it was most probably the best nights sleep I had in a long time! everything from the kitchen, shower and toilet was all immaculate and very quaint so much effort has been put in this site. I must give a big shout out to the two lovely hosts Kellie and Daisy they made us feel so welcome and provided everything we needed so thank you both so much and we can't wait to go back again next year!!

Kellie, team and family were lovely hosts. All the facilities were in great condition and very clean as pictured on their site. The campsite itself is away from any main roads so is really quiet and peaceful. There’s a locked front gate which you get a fob for which made the place feel very safe and secure. Visiting via car is essential but to be expected. There’s lots of local activities in the summer and everything is a very short drive away. Kellie and team provide a booklet in the huts. A great getaway for those looking for a glamping trip with access to nature. We liked it because we like camping but wanted a bed and a room. In the room is a heater, tv and a fan. Not that we needed any of them. Other visitors were friendly and respected our space. The communal areas were always available and there was plenty of utensils and equipment for cooking, again all well maintained and clean. We spent our evenings around our fire pit listening to music and using the BBQ. Will recommend and hopefully be welcomed back soon!
