    We rounded off an overnight visit to Chipping Campden by taking in Hook Norton on the journey home. No brewery tour on this occasion, but we did take advantage of the Malthouse Kitchen for a late lunch and also purchased a selection of the Brewery's beers to bring home. Very traditional Tower Brewery producing some excellent products.

    I've always loved the Hook Norton brewery, their outstanding beer, and ethos. Visited the Malthouse Kitchen today, and it only made me love it more. They serve classic pub fare, and they do it very very well. But it's the service that really makes it a memorable experience. Lovely staff who really care about their guests. A truly wonderful place to spend an afternoon. And seeing a shire horse drink a pint of ale was the icing on the cake. Thank you Hook Norton!
