Jess & Karolyn took both our engagement photographs and wedding photographs (July 2022). Right from the get go they were fantastic. They have a streamlined process for gathering all the information which is very stress free. In particular, the wedding questionnaire we filled out a few weeks before was so detailed and they knew it inside out on the day so you didn't have to worry about forgetting what pictures you wanted or who with, because they knew it all! On our actual wedding day, they were just brilliant. I have been in a few weddings and inevitably it can be quite stressful at times, but Jess and Karolyn made us feel so comfortable and relaxed when we were getting our photos taken. They were also just so excited for us which was lovely. They were prompt for both of us on the morning, even though our families lived about 40 minutes away, but you wouldn't have known! They also took charge for the family/group photographs, in a really nice way, which was helpful! When we got the photographs, we couldn't believe how many edited photos that were sent to us, and how amazing they were. There are honestly so many to choose from and we love them so much!! The website they use to share the photographs is also really user friendly and offers a lot of services - prints, frames, wedding albums, thank you cards, and I think we've used every one because the quality is so good. Honestly, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. They were just brilliant and couldn't recommend them enough!!

Sorry ladies, I’m very very late in posting this review of your services. Our wedding was on January 3rd 2020 at The Merchant Hotel and Jess stayed with us for 8hours. We have 600+ photos that we are delighted with. Jess was incredibly patient, professional and personable. We asked for a more “reportage” type portfolio and that’s what she delivered, but she was very happy to take any ad hoc requests from our guests who were in “all the feels” mode on the night. The photos have been on a screensaver loop at home for the past two years so we are reminded of the day, every day! Hopefully things will pick up for all the businesses affected by the pandemic this year and if you’re getting married in or around NI, I can’t recommend Honey and the Moon highly enough.

On the day, Jess and Kelly were in total control of everything, they were super accommodating and efficient. We got married in April of 2021, after a few rearrangements due to COVID. Honey and the Moon could not have been more supportive and responsive when it came to changing dates whenever COVID restrictions meant our original date changed. On the day of the wedding, Jess was fantastic! She captured so many lovely moments, but without making them feel staged or awkward. When it came to the post-ceremony photos, Jess made me and my husband feel so at ease. We are both very wary of the camera, so we were thinking that the photos would look like a dodgy formal photo session but that just was not the case! The photos came out beautifully and you can tell that we were at ease in them- something I has written off as being possible! I would happily recommend Honey and the Moon to anyone who wants to capture the special moments of their wedding day.

Jess and Karolyn were fantastic wedding photographers for us. They put us at ease and, just as we requested, took lots of beautifully candid, natural shots of our day, capturing unforgettable moments without us even realising it. They communicated well before and after the wedding and the photographs were of a very high quality. We particularly loved the presentation box which they sent us some prints and the memory stick of photos in, it's a lovely momento of our day. We would definitely recommend them to any one looking for wedding photographers.
