Staff were inattentive and doing unimportant things; consequently it was a while before we could attempt to place an order, staff member was unhelpful and off hand. The menu said each burger would come with fries and 1 side of your choice. The trouble is that there are two sections on the menu entitled "sides", my pal wanted the onion rings listed in one of the "sides" section but our disinterested waiter said it had to be from the very limited second "sides" section. My friend said the menu was misleading. The waiter couldn't have cared less if he'd tried. We went to Five Guys and had an altogether better experience. Well done "Honest burger" lost our business for the cost of a few onion rings.

The food is fine. Mine was quite cold and a few of the chips tasted a bit old but the vegan burger was good quality. I went to Honest because it was a Thursday and all the better burger places were really busy. It wasn't anything special and now I know about their terrible treatment of staff, threatening to 'fire and rehire' I will never go back.
