  Landale house is probably the best of both worlds where you have access to a shopping center, gyms, parks and a tube station, all a stone throw away, and yet you can have your peace and quiet away from the fast-paced life.

  DO NOT COME HERE !! NOT WORTH THE MONEY !! Not a very nice accommodation, the pictures on the website look nothing like what the actual rooms look like. Cons: -it’s very old n dusty with cracks on the walls. Very thin walls so u can hear everything. -kitchen is alright but not enough fridge space for 5 people - there’s a boiler attached to the wall where there’s a massive hole and myself and my flatmates have seen mice !!! And we know it’s not our fault since we keep the kitchen clean but because there’s a hole the mouse can enter the kitchen. Which just tells u a lot about the hygiene of the building and the fact that the landlords don’t care. -some rooms have curtains but some have blinds which were broken once arriving to the room. -bathroom is disgusting with dead flies stuck on the ceiling, if there’s hair stuck in the bathroom drain u have to call maintenance to deal w it since they have the proper tools to drain it with so u can’t do it yourself. Bathroom windows are obscured but don’t have curtains making everyone who’s outside see your silhouette and can obviously know if ur taking a shower. - annoying that the building is very hard to find due to it being at the very back of an alley so it’s hard for deliveroo drives etc. -When ordering a parcel u have to make sure it comes between Monday-Friday from 9am-5.30pm since the office is closed the rest of the time. -building works all around the building which isn’t the property’s fault but gets annoying since it’s noisy + creepy builders watching you through the window Pros: -the staff are very nice. Fay is very lovely and is always there to help. -5 min walk to Canada Water station so can get to central ldn very quickly. Good transport links. -Good heating n hot water.

The front desk is very enthusiastic and the service attitude is very good, but the working hours are only from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays, so it is sometimes not very convenient to receive express delivery. All repairs were done in a timely manner. There is a construction site next to the apartment, but the noise is under control, and I think it basically does not affect daily life. The only thing I am not satisfied with is that the sound insulation between the walls is not very good. You can usually hear the sound of the next room, and occasionally you can hear the sound of footsteps upstairs in the dead of night.   Decently priced for student accommodation in London, very close to the station and Tesco extra, near central London. Rooms are decently sized just there are quite a few maintenance issues that take a while to get fixed.

  What can I say that hasn't been said already on other reviews????? Other than AVOID! AVOID!! AVOID!!! The owner doesn't care about the place, just the money. The toilet smells cleaner than the room itself. The bed (if you can call it that) is like what you see in prison. The room itself is like a prison cell. I'm surprised nobody else has pointed out the parallels between it and a prison on these reviews. I see a lot of people saying the staff are nice and friendly. I'm sure they are when they're not hounding you for money. So many loose wires around the place too, I noticed they have a vending machine not even pushed up against the wall but there's a cluster of wires just scattered on the ground. If I wasn't so broke for money, I'd love to request to cancel my tenancy and just go home bc this place is an absolute nightmare. I read that if I can find someone else to take over, they'll cancel my tenancy? If I read that right, great.

  An absolute dump of a place, and the owner's greed really shows. I only booked here because it was cheap for the deposit. The very same day I applied I was bombarded with phone calls asking about the money and if it's sent and when I'll send it etc. Pure greed. That was the first warning sign. But I thought, it's too late to pull out now I put down the deposit. Getting there, nothing but greed again. Constantly asking if I have my loan, if I'm paying soon, when can I pay the rent, etc. Second warning sign. And then you go in there after the website makes the whole place sound like an absolute premium place to live. It's a dump. If you've ever played Half Life 2, look at the apartments those people in the game are living in. They're better than this place. Much better. Cracks in the walls, stains everywhere but it's OK, they painted over them with the thinnest layer of white paint. I can see red and orange underneath my walls from whatever the last person had put on there. Rooms smells of urine. Absolutely abysmal. I was an extremely well adjusted person before I came to London, my emotions were in check. I was sound. Since then, since being here, I've had suicidal thoughts because apparently nobody listens to your circumstances here. I've cried and had breakdowns and anxiety attacks because the owner is threatening to kick me out, but not before telling me about this "party" they're holding for people who moved in to celebrate. He's celebrating, rubbing his hands with glee because he's convinced a bunch of people needing accommodation to come stay in his overpriced, unclean, absolute dump of a place. Parents, if you're looking towards this place as a good accommodation for your kids, don't. They'd be better off in care than Landale House. By the end of my tenancy, I hope I'm still alive.
