Staff at very poorly managed Rosendale House are incompetent and spiteful. Nowhere near good enough for any child.

I’ve worked for Homes2Inspire for 1.5 years now. I’m struggling to understand the reasoning behind the bad reviews? In my experience our children are in the best care by the best team of people. To see the change in our children is so rewarding and makes me job worth while. I work with a great team with support on hand if needed.

I worked for H2Ias a residential careworker for 4 years, and I would like to say that I left on good terms with H2I so this isn't a rant from someone who was fired Working with the kids was the best part of the job and weekend shifts were the best time to work because you didn't have to deal with the management but you had to give up the social life on the weekends. The whole company is run with the sole focus of saving money at every cost, the amount of awkward phone calls I've had with social workers trying to request money for the young person just for them to say that keys should be covering this was embarrassing. The management of the homes is atrocious and the regional managers come in and try to implement changes for the young people when most of the time they haven't met them and leave the staff to deal with the fall out. The young person the staff work with are challenging as is the nature of the job and this is to be expected if you don't have a thick skin and are easily offended then this kine of work isn't for you, and what makes this worse is when the managers accept new placements that don't fit the dynamic of the home, for example the regional manager and manager of my home accepted two you people from the same area of the country and both had a history of self harm and within a few days they had ran off from the home together and started self harming together, just for the managers to say the staff aren't doing enough to keep the children safe.

Worked for this company for a very long time and have always been supported by managers in the home and senior managers. I can say this with confidence after working across many of the homes. The young people and staff are treated respectfully. Unfortunately not everyone has the skills set or resilience for this work and instead of recognising there own short falls and or areas of learning continue to place the blame at managements feet no matter how much support that had been provided. Unfortunately the people leaving bad reviews remain nameless and faceless and are usually the people who have left under a cloud following not being able to preform to the standard we expect. I think the reviews speak volumes 8 negative reviews compared to the hundreds of staff employed by the company. I would say if you are truly interested in carrying out challenging but rewarding work take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt.

Avoid. This company don't care about their employees. Litteraly they could not care less. Overworked underpaid constantly. Kids are bullied and swore at the same like staff. They pay for sleep in just 34 pounds which is surely illegal. Citizen Advice informed. Constantly no money in the house. Blaming and bully culture. Unprofessional management HILLSIDE HOUSE.
