First thing to say is that my dog, Oliver, really liked Rachel and even when he was tired & poorly he wagged and smiled all the times that she came to see him. I’m very grateful that I found this service (ultimately euthanasia) and that we got to spend those very precious last moments with our dog in the comfort of our home. Oliver’s ending was peaceful and gentle and Rachel guided us in a professional and thoughtful way, talking us through what was going to happen throughout the process. I’m so glad Rachel said that we might like to take a lock of Oliver’s hair because I wouldn’t have thought to at the time, but now it is something I have to cherish as I grieve for a my good boy. Thank you

I found home visit vet after a Google search when we decided it was time to say goodbye to our beloved dog. We wanted a peaceful service done at home to reduce the stress of a car journey to the vets and being around other dogs as our our dog was not great with dogs. Rachel came to our home and we discussed what was had been happening and it seemed as if our dog was putting on a show and Rachel could hear her breathing. She reassured us we were definitely doing the right thing as heartbreaking as it was. We were talked through the process of what would happen and our beautiful baby girl peacefully fell to sleep at home surrounded by us. Rachel gave us some time after wards to have to ourselves to say goodbye before allowing me to carry out our dog to her car where we said our final goodbyes. Rachel then arranged for an individual cremation and paw print to be taken for us. When it came to the time of picking up the ashes, we found ourselves being reliant on the ever unreliable trains and due to being in our area at the time Rachel offered to deliver the ashes to us at an extra cost which we are so grateful for. I 100% recommend home visit vet to anyone who finds themselves in the situation of having to say goodbye to their beloved pet. The service provided was above and beyond, caring and compassionate. Thank you once again for your service and making us feel at ease doing the hardest thing we've ever had to do.

My cat Squeak was 20 years old and had heart disease. She absolutely hated the vets, so when I noticed she had taken a turn for the worse, I started to look into if it was possible to have animals put to sleep at home. This is when I found Rachel and she came out on the same day - in the middle of a heatwave. Upon arrival she confirmed my biggest fear that it was best to let my little best mate go. I am SO happy I was able to do this at home all because of Rachel. As the only thing bringing me comfort during my grief, is knowing that she went so peacefully, at home surrounded by me and the dog and everything she loved. She was put to sleep on her favourite spot of the sofa, with her favourite throw/blanket. Rachel was flawless with the service she provided. Very empathetic and understanding. I didn't feel silly crying my eyes out infront of her, I felt comfortable and not judged. I don't know why someone has mentioned the way Rachel asks for payment AFTER your animal has been put to sleep. She is there to do a job and provide a service so of course she has to ask for a payment. And me personally, preferred being asked after my cat had been put to sleep and out of her suffering. Even afterwards, Rachel let the dog say her goodbyes to the cat and let me carry the cat out to the car for her final journey, which meant a lot to me. A few days later I received a sympathy card through the post from Rachel with some lovely words inside which was a really nice gesture. When Squeak's ashes were ready, Rachel got in touch straight away. And was very accomadting with times I could go and collect her as I work all different shifts so I can be quite awkward. But this wasn't a problem for Rachel. I would highly recommend her services to anyone. This is the best thing I could have done for my cat and I am so grateful to Rachel. Thank you for the work you do.

Rachel came out to us yesterday at short notice as we had to say goodbye to our much loved elderly cat Roxy. We were a bit out of area but Rachel still came, it’s clear how much she cares. We are so grateful that we didn’t have to put Roxy through a traumatic trip to the vets at the end. Rachel was caring and professional throughout, thank you so much.
