  Horrendous experience from start to finish. Nearly 8 weeks to ‘complete’ a tiny bathroom and even then it still wasn’t finished properly. In the end I paid the balance as I was sick of going back and forward and decided to get all the snags fixed myself. A horrendous mess was left by the electrician who only came to fit some spotlights but decided to open all upstairs doors before drilling so every room was thick with dust. Left in an absolute state over Christmas and new year. Lost count of the amount of times they came back to fix something and left more scratches, holes and mess from poor siliconing. Would 100% never recommend. Would be more than happy to share the pictures Reply to the response from Homestar - In no way shape or form was the work completed on the 21/12/2022. I was left in such a state over Christmas and new year and have time stamped photos to prove that. Light sockets hanging out of the wall, old fittings dumped in the back bedroom and the dust mess as mentioned before from the electrician. I never asked for white lights, I was given an option by the electrician on the day he first came which I would prefer black or white and I said black, so it wasn’t a change or a ‘drop of the hat’ decision. I didn’t change my mind on a shower screen either it was completely non-functional, I should have been advised at the time the quote was given this would never have worked as I was having a shower tray not a wet room. It wasn’t dripping or splashing onto the floor it completely flooded the bathroom the minute the shower was turned on? Yes I did ask for the sealant to be black that wasn’t the issue I had, the issue was the poor work, you can not tell me that was acceptable? So after I complained the silicone was not acceptable it was agreed to be changed to white as this was ‘easier’ however still looks a mess. I never once refused to pay the full balance, I asked for a discount as it had taken much longer than the time agreed and was told you could knock £100 off for inconvenience so that is what I didn’t pay, not sure where you have £419 from but that is completely false. You also knocked £300 off the total price after I questioned why you’re trying to charge on the invoice (which didn’t come through until the work had started and the sink unit came damaged) £1928 for a sink unit when the exact same one cost £699 at Victoria plumb? Happy to take a 0 rating just shows how unprofessional you are!

  I was very satisfied with the roof work of Home Star UK. After being let down by the initial contractor, Home Star UK came in at the last minute working non-stop for the last few weeks before Christmas to repair the damage caused by the previous contractor, lay the new roof tiles, install skylights, repair the chimneys as well as mount fascias and gutters and clean up the site. I highly recommend the company which has dedicated and skilled workers.

  From the day that the sales person came in to measure and give us a price, until the day the 2 installers left after 3 days, the experience could not have been better. The price could not be bettered for 9 windows and 2 doors, the quality cannot be criticised, nor can the work ethic of the 2 installers. Clean and tidy workers, very polite. The difference in light coming into the house and the difference in temperature in the house really remarkable. I would recommend Home Star UK to everybody, fantastic service.

  I am so happy I came to Home Star UK for my requirement of Porch door and windows. They have provided me the best product in the least waiting time and also at the most competitive rate. Other vendors were providing quite less years warranty at higher price and also their waiting time was between 10 to 16 weeks. Home Star UK has installed doors and windows within 5 weeks. The installation team was so skilled. They did exceptional job of installation with such neatness. Full marks to Home Star UK. I am not going to any other vendor for my future needs but only coming back to Home Star UK. Kudos to you all

  Am very happy with my new bathroom from Home Star UK. Billy the salesman was very polite and informative. Dates where set and honored in a timely manner.. there was a small delay due to the fitter just becoming a farther but we was made aware of this delay and communication was amazing. Will look to put some pictures up when I get time to but for now just want to get the review up.. there was small corrections that needed to be made after the job was completed but the fitter was back the next working day and finalised everything within a couple of hours. Exteamly happy with the service and quality received.

  Superb product. Superb service. Our fitters, Chris & Richie provided an exceptional service. Called the night before to confirm arrival time, arrived bang on time. Really professional team work installation. Great finish. Left all clean and tidy. Recommended.
