Although it takes a while to get things done, when they are done, they are done very well! My tumble dryer stopped getting hot, 2 engineers visits to deem it unfix able because it was the gas system, they don’t do gas, it was in use for less than a year! But the company paid me out for the cost of the machine, so that I could buy a replacement. Next my washer broke down, also less than a year in use, it needed a new motor! But despite giving all the details to the company an engineer had to come out and check that I had given them the correct code, not Home Emergency Assist fault but I ended up being without a washer for over 4 weeks waiting for engineers! Now all fixed. Good company but because you are dealing with an insurance firm rather than the engineers directly it takes longer but it’s much cheaper, so swings and roundabouts!

Four times they have been out, and twice closed the claim prematurely. Their plumbers can't see leaks right in front of them. I found it myself with my builder who removed the floor. They wanted me to rip floors up everywhere to find the leak. Now left with pipes capped off, and no heating, and they've closed the claim again. Absolute Joke. I have taken 4 days off in total from my work with my patients to be around for them to come and fix the problems. I will be taking this further, as my neighbour's ceiling is ruined because they've taken nearly a month to Capp this off!!!

Awful company if I could minus stars I would. I made a simple claim plumber came out said cant fix til go ahead from company so was left another 3days. I e mailed complaint was told someone get in touch they never did. Tried couple months later to claim again on phone for 4 hours no reply so paid someone myself to come do job. I had full cover with this company wish I not wasted my money never again

What a absolute joke of a company!! I bought this cover for emergencies! My down stairs loo is blocked and I'm dissabled so only use the downstairs loo, but because I have 3 toilets in the house, the other 2 are upstairs I cannot use this!!! What a absolute joke....stay away....

Very disappointing. Leak of the water pipe to the property. I have been passed from "pillar to post" - given about 12 different telephone numbers to call. Eventually managed to speak to somebody and an engineer was arranged. They sent a plumber (for internal leaks). Spoke to someone who then said that no-one else could be sent until the plumber had reported back. Now being told that because it is external it is not an "emergency" and I need to speak to a different team, but no-one seems to know who. No further forwards. Advice: use HomeServe,

Absolutely shocking service, if I could give a 0 I would. Might be cheap and there's a reason for that, they have every excuse in the book to not do a repair. I thought it was to fix break downs of my heating system, had a radiator that stopped working, was told they only cover whole boiler/ heating systems. Check their terms with a a careful eye, because if you do you will realise, you are paying to receive nothing service wise. A massive red flag, they don't let anyone post on their social media pages. And the only good reviews are from people who have bought the policy, not from people who have tried using it.
