    Holy Island is one of the most unusual places to visit in England. Visiting times are restricted by the tide which floods the causeway. You need to check in advance to plan your journey. Unless you are staying over you need to keep an eye on the time to make sure you leave before the tide comes back in. There is a refuge Tower halfway along the Causeway in case you don't make it in time. The Castle perched on top of a rock is quite spectacular and worth seeing. Another unusual feature is the upturned old boats now used as sheds. There's a really nice pub on the island where you can get a good meal and a nice pint of Real Ale.

    Had a good time here with the bros, raiding and pillaging this place. Brought some good loot back home and send these monks to their Christian god... Definitely gonna return here again!
