    On first visit the staff were friendly and seemed helpful, quickly showing us round the facilities and discussing pricing. They also offered to drop him back off to us 40 minutes away. It was a slight concern that none of the dogs were interacted with on the tour though and how haphazard the discussion around dates and medications was. Also the amount of times they forgot my dogs gender. Communication was poor as on a few occasions we have tried to contact them and left messages only to be contacted back roughly a week later. Upon collecting the dog he seemed happy and well exercised. The problems came when paying. We were told that as we were dropping him off after 11 and collecting him before 11 this would only be charged as one day, however, we were charged the extra day. We were also quoted the price for a medium dog however they insisted on payment for a large dog (which he certainly isn’t as a 23.5kg staffie). To further matters they had also increased the price since we left resulting in even higher charges. When we tried to discuss these issues we were met with hostility and instead of trying to reach an understanding we were argued with none stop. Definitely won’t be using these kennels again mainly due to extremely poor customer service and communication. Edit: After discussing this experience with other previous customers I have found others have had similar experiences of being charged for a large breed for Staffies. Allegedly his reasoning was that they are unpredictable and antisocial and stopped himself before saying aggressive. This sort of bias is sad to see. Edit 2: Just been to the vets and apparently the vet doesn’t think the medication was given to our dog. I thought it was strange we weren’t given back any of his medication.
