I fondly remember visiting Hollytrees as a child, so brought my Home Educated children this afternoon. It has a lovely smart entrance filled with local brochures and leaflets. You then enter through the gift shop and head into the museum portion. There are a few different exhibition rooms including Clocks, Toys, Household items and Victorian times. Our personal favourite was the Household Room due to the dressing up and the kitchen role play. We loved the Old toy room also. Perfect place to spend an hour learning about local history however i do feel like a warmer greeting could be had!
