I've had the same issues as many here, calling at 8am on the dot and having to keep trying 30+ times (sometimes as many as 80 or more) before it connects only to be told there are no more appointments. My partner called this morning to be told there's an appointment at 3.20pm but the text said she's in thurnscoe as there isn't a GP on site in Great Houghton on Thursdays. Neither of us drive and can't always catch a bus so she has to walk to thurnscoe and back

I have been a patient at this practice for many years and have also had the same difficulty getting appointments on many occasions. I have had experience of a few abrupt, unhelpful receptionists both face to face and on the phone. They make me wary of even ringing sometimes. However I must name one lady called Zoe who is always kind, friendly, helpful and very professional. She listens and will always try to get you an appointment if possible. My experience of the doctors and nurses at Hollygreen Practice has also been quite positive. So thank you to Zoe for your kind, helpful attitude as a Hollygreen Practice receptionist.

Where do I begin! It’s almost impossible to get an appointment. Ring at 8am as per protocol, get through at 8.10am to be told none are available. You can not book in advance. Staff are rude, ignorant and opinionated. DR Kadarsha is actually really nice if you get to see him but it’s almost impossible.

Absolutely abysmal service! You can never get through on the telephone. You’re in a continual automated loop with no one ever answering and even when you driver to the Practice and inform them off the issue they are disinterested and do nothing to rectify it! Hence sitting here 3 weeks later with the same issue!!! It’s the elderly, vulnerable and extremely ill I feel sorry for!!!
