I contacted Holly a few months before my wedding. I had been given my grandmothers veil to use for my own but I wanted to put a bit of colour into it. Holly did a fantastic job, she changed it just to how I wanted it whilst keeping the authenticity of the original. She was professional from the first consultation and kept me updated throughout. She also made some amendments to my wedding dress and added some pearls from my grandmothers dress to cover the zip line. I would highly recommend her, she provides a fabulous service.

I am so happy that I found Holly and so delighted with the amazing work she did for my bridal dress. :) I bought a beautiful 'Violette Princess Ball Gown' dress from WED2B (Camberley) and I wanted few alterations done to the dress. The girls in the shop recommended Holly and from the moment, I made contact with her, she has been super professional, friendly and helpful. When I finally met Holly in her beautiful studio at her place, she was so welcoming and made me feel at ease, and we were just chatting away. We discussed through the alteration plans and I was so excited to see her work in a couple of weeks' time. When I met her again and tried on the altered version of the dress, I was amazed at the transformation and how beautiful it looked - I was incredibly happy! I approached Holly Winter Couture to discuss having a dress made for my wedding. I initially was very sceptical about having a custom-made wedding dress – would it be too expensive? Would the designer like my ideas? What if I didn’t like the dress after it was made? But after speaking with Holly I knew I’d made the right decision. She listened to my ideas; looked over my picture collage I’d made with colours, fabrics and styles; took note of my budget; and came up with the perfect dress – an a-line, princess style, blush pink, glittery dress with corset back and flower & leaves embroidery across the chest. With COVID restrictions, we had to do most of our appointments over skype/text but Holly didn’t let the new normal faze her as she sent a template dress through the post for me to try on to check sizing and made alterations based on a video call. When we were able to meet up, I was able to try on my almost finished dress and was worried I wouldn’t be allowed to make any changes at that stage if there was something I was unsure about, but Holly quickly alleviated my concerns. Her priority is making sure her brides are happy and, knowing I have OCD, wanted to ensure I was 100% happy, so she removed some decoration I’d initially asked for but then decided I didn’t want, and changed the style of embroidery to something I was more comfortable with. Holly definitely went beyond the call of duty to ensure my dress was exactly how I’d pictured it in my head. The whole process was so enjoyable and by the end I felt I’d not only gained a dress, but a friend too. I would highly recommend Holly Winter Couture!
