Went to hollies trout farm today and had a great day there. Rob the owner was very polite. The fishery was lovely and well kept grounds. I bought a catch and release ticket for 15 pounds for all day. I caught 2 fish and lost 3 but that's what happens sometimes. But overall I was very happy. Thanks again Rob for having me.

Just got back from our stay at the log cabin. We went with our 2 young sons and it was fab!!! We didn't use the fishery but used it as a base for exploring the area. It is rural but not too far away from towns. The fishery and valley is the perfect get away if you want to be surrounded by nature- you can't even hear any road trafficđ. The cabin is plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2kids, the kitchen is well stocked with all appliances so you can make a good meal. Beds are comfy and the log stove makes it super cozy. It's a plus the dogs are welcome to. I would go back and recommend to anyone that enjoys a quiet countryside retreat.

First visit for me here on Friday 1st July, beautiful small well stocked lake, purchased a 2 fish ticket with catch & release, caught my keepers (both 2-3lb) and around 6 others all on dry fly. Loved every minute & will return. Only downside is I was having such a blast I didnât take any pictures!
