This shop is full of the most gorgeous fabrics there is so much choice and new ones are arriving all the time. Whatever you need for your sewing in haberdashery you will find it in Hollies. The choice of wool is phenomenal. The staff are so friendly professional and knowledgeable, and even if there is a queue you won't be rushed they make you feel special, the classes are so well run and you can be one of many in the room but you get personal service and feel you are the only one there. Once you have been Hollies you won't want to go anywhere else.

I’ve just completed another project and was appreciating the feel of the lovely, quality, viscose fabric I’ve used and decided it was worthy of a review and recognition of Hollies Haberdashery. I love visiting the shop, it’s always packed with new lines as well as ‘go to’ plain coloured craft cottons in every shade. More often than not, I order on line as I subscribe to the weekly newsletter that drops in my inbox on Fridays. It’s full of inspiring ideas and temptation. I live close enough to save on postage and stroll down to collect my order which gives opportunity chat about the project with the staff there, who are as keen on sewing and knitting as their customers.

I went into this delightful store on Wednesday to see if I could see some fabric to make a T-shirt and a dress. Oh my what a choice ! There were so many beautiful fabrics I really struggled to choose, but the very helpful advice I got from Sarah I did manage to get what I needed. Although the shop had others in it Sarah made me feel as if I was the only one in there as she gave me lots of suggestions and advice on the fabrics I was looking at, however she was very professional and acknowledged the other customers. Thank you Sarah I will definitely be back.
