Sadly, our recent stay via this company at Haveli wasn’t what we had expected - The property was uncomfortably furnished downstairs, with an inefficient shower and a blood stain on one of the duvet covers! the whole property could have done with a good clean - to make it smell fresh - the log burner clearly hadn’t been cleaned after the last occupants. The company has not shown much consideration to my complaint- ( nothing from the owners at all I might add) in fact, after their initial email response - I’ve heard nothing… We left the property a day early as it was more comfortable to be at home- such a shame what waste of money -

Stayed in one of the Sallys Cottages recently which are partially managed by holidaycottages.co.uk. The cleaning was erratic, some areas were clean but the bathroom floor was left covered with black hair and the mattress protector was disgusting and the stains showed through the bottom sheet. We had to wash it to feel happy. I contacted the company as we left and sent the photos etc. They have not replied which says a lot. We will not use again as customer service seems to be difficult for them.

Highly recommend - had a fabulous holiday at Hillcrest, a wonderful holiday home for a large family group - there were 10 of us and plenty of room in this gorgeous house. Excellent communication from Tracey our host before and during our visit, and a great location for exploring North Devon. Hartland itself has great pubs and lots to visit nearby. Would love to return.

A beautiful house, comfortable for adults, kids and 2 dogs. Well-equipped, secure back garden. Twenty to thirty minutes walk to the town centre. Plan to go again.
