    Don't trust their cancelation policy. I had to cancel a stay after realising our flights would miss the last ferry to the island we were staying on. I cancelled with in 2 hours of making the booking and received no refund whatsoever. What's more they only took the payment for the stay out *after* I had cancelled. I rang up and they firstly said it was up to the individual owner to refund the booking fee not them. Then after pressing them they seemed to change their story and said it was because the booking was made 59 days beforehand and they policy only covers 60 (even though they were fine with taking the deposit after it had already been cancelled). Bottom line is they treat their customers awfully. Avoid.

    Constantly getting fraud/Scammed by this company. Ask supposed property owner if their property is available and i get an email and text asking to contact them on WhatsApp and a false holiday lettings email address!

    This company cancelled our stay in Oxford on a bank holiday weekend at short notice and with no details on why. Suspect the reason was because I had booked in advance and so they figured they could make more money with some last minute booking. Very questionable business practices. Fortunately booked through hotels.com so got the refund processed OK - but no action taken against the company doing the listing.

    Very very bad service ! I've been waiting for 2 weeks to be contacted by the charge back team ! I emailed, called in the UK ! "Yes we call you back in the 24hours" and...nothing ! Still need to be refunded of 900 euros. I HIGHLY not recommend !

    I paid a £650.33 deposit for apartment in south of France in August 2020. The booking was cancelled due to Covid-19. Holiday Lettings has charged a £266.08 booking fee and there is no refund of the remaining deposit of £384.25. If you need to change your holiday dates due to Covid-19, or cancel your booking, do not use this website. Fair minded businesses should be successful and profitable; please don't use this website as unfair practices should not be rewarded. Buyer beware!

    Owners leave their prices incorrect on the site, so they take a significant deposit, then the owners respond having hiked their price several times over and expect you to agree and pay up. Happened three times on the trot, so I went to Vrbo where the process was slick and easy and my first attempted booking was confirmed at the advertised price!
