I have used Holiday Lets in Kent twice for work and I have to say they have been fantastic. First time was in Beach Lookout in Broadstairs which was lovely and cosy with a fantastic view, steps from the beach ; second time in the wonderful Port View, which was simply stunning. Both the apartments are equipped with everything you can think of, with very comfortable beds. Alistair is a fantastic host, responds very quickly to any questions or problems and each time I have stayed, there has been a comprehensive guide to how everything works in the apartments. They are a small local company and seem to care a lot about their properties and to provide an excellent customer service. I can't rate them highly enough!

The Clarendon Cottage in Broadstairs, from outside, is a typical Terraced small front house, but it has been renovated recently and once inside it has more space than you expect it. Very clean and has all facilities you may need. Comfortable furniture and great beds. The kitchen even has a Nespresso Machine! For a couple or a small family it is the perfect place. Very close to the station and to the hight street. It is a 10 minutes walk from the sea front and to key stores and restaurants. The neighbourhood is very quiet and at night is very peaceful. I will definitely return!

We recently stayed in Aurora, right on the beach in Ramsgate, through Holiday Lets In Kent. Although we ate out (thank you to Alistair for the recommendations for breakfasts and dinners) the apartment had a lovely, spacious kitchen and appeared to have everything you need if you wanted to eat in. The remote control blackout blinds are a great touch, enabling you to wake up in the morning and open the blind to make the most of the sea view without even getting out of bed. We would definitely stay at the property again and would highly recommend Holiday Lets In Kent. Alistair is incredibly friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with, and whilst we haven’t (yet) stayed in any of the other properties he is able to offer, I have no doubt that he will apply the same attention to detail and customer service across the board. As such I wouldn’t hesitate to book another stay with this company.

Unfortunately did not live up to expectations. We booked 9 nights at the Beach Lookout property in Broadstairs after seeing all the other good reviews. The views are amazing which is all it has going for it. The accomodation is in need of some TLC and a deep clean. It is disrespectful to invite paying guests into dirty accomodation and then offer to clean properly while they are there. I understand that you are short staffed but that is no excuse. Lots of companies are in the same situation but manage to keep standards up. Like I said to Alistair, it was not a good start to the holiday cleaning the fridge, cooker etc because it was filthy. Also there has been leaks/floods previously which has clearly caused damp e.g stained ceilings and curtains and rusty radiator with flaking paint. We checked out after first night due to cleanliness issues and was very disappointed to only be given less than 50% refund when we did nothing wrong and have ended up without a holiday. Alistair is dishonest and he denied any knowledge of a booking in our name to my husband. This is clear for everyone to see. He also blamed Airbnb for not refunding what is legally owed to us. AVOID !!!
