Pleasant Hotel with plenty of room and stairs and services and features. There is also a large car park outside with plenty of room for parking. The room quality is quite basic but more than sufficient. The staff are friendly and helpful during my stay.

One of the big IHG hotels around Heathrow airport, LHR, is the Holiday Inn M4/J4 and being just off junction 4 makes it easy access for the airport and it is only a few minutes drive to terminals 2 and 3 and about 15 minutes from terminals 4 and 5. The hotel is a little bit dated which shows most in the corridors and common areas, however the lobby and restaurants have been modernised as have many of the rooms. There is a nice restaurant and an open bar area as well as a breakfast restaurant. However there are little else in the immediate area apart from a small pub up the road. There is a nice gym with plenty of space and machine and weight options. The rooms are average size but they have a good balance of amenities. Parking is on the expensive side but there are long stay options. Whilst the hotel is very convenient if you have a car, it is slightly more difficult on public transport unless you use the expensive Hoppa busses at £5 single journey. They are licensed by the airport as they don't allow courtesy shuttles, however it is possible to take a bus from Heathrow central out to the first stop, and they are all free within the airport area, and then on Bath road change to bus 222 towards Uxbridge which will pass the hotel and cost £1.50 and caps at £4.50 per day if you make more journeys. Overall a nice hotel close to the airport.

Don’t go to this place by car. We paid for parking and later received threatening letters for hundreds of pounds. Very unpleasant - appears to be a scam or criminal racket

Car parking is a scam. Mediocre food and restaurant, rooms are comfortable. If you need access to Heathrow go to Bath Road.
