If I could post less than one star I would. My daughter is autistic and loves horses. Hole Farm Riding Centre states that they accommodate disabled riders. My daughter went for an “assessment” and they were happy she was comfortable on the horse and I booked an outride for her. When booking I mentioned again that my daughter was autistic and that I would like to walk next to her to support her as she can struggle with communication and she is 4. I was told this was fine. I took my very excited daughter back today for an outride and I have never encountered such an unprofessional attitude. I was shouted at by someone who appeared to be the owner and told my daughter was not 4, that she was 3 and when my daughter ran to touch the horses tail (after I was told by the woman to put her down, only to declare that she was 3) she shouted “J***s C****t” and told us she is entitled to exercise her discretion as to my daughters age and she’s not 4 so she cannot ride. Obviously being autistic my daughter doesn’t handle being told she’s going to do something and then all of a sudden change of plan. I’m honestly shocked at the woman’s behaviour. I would not recommend this riding centre based on my experience, especially for disabled riders.

A true hidden gem! My daughter and her friends had a pony party/experience here the weekend and they absolutely loved it! We have done 1/2 treks here in the past and my daughter asked if she could go back. The people who work there are really friendly and were brilliant with the children. We will defo be coming back regularly. Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon!

Waste of time and money. I bought my son a ride, he was afraid but he got on a horse. And from that moment a tragedy ... They led the kid into the mud up to ankles without warning me that we would go this route. I stayed far behind them, sinking in the mud, and no one even noticed. The woman leading my son didn't even look at him and he sat terrified that I was missing and was afraid that he would fall. 30 minutes, the woman did not even exchange a glance with my son, not to mention asking if everything was okay. When they came back she got my son off the horse and left without a word leaving us in the middle of the square... My son loved horses... after the ride he said it wasn't a fun experience and he never wants to ride a horse again.
