Recent experiences here range from reasonable to very frustrating. I will admit many of my less pleasing trips to the practice were during the COVID pandemic for which all from top management to patients had to take things on the chin. What irritates me is that post pandemic seems to have left a trail for obvious errors in management and/or general logic in working procedures. ONE example, today I spent 15 minutes behind a lady in the dispensary queue who needed specific and lengthy help from the assisting staff member. No blame to either patient or staff member dealing. However, why do the remaining numbers of staff who sit behind the reception/dispensary not help assist to reduce queues by opening the second serving booth, IF ONLY whilst the primary staff member is stuck with a tricky customer request/query which causes an atypical delay which 15mins + clearly is if you just want to collect a prescription in your dinner hour. I don't want to see the practice standards drop off without good reason, but believing that the current "norm" is acceptable is a dangerous road to go down. Even if only 2 or 3 in every 10 patient suggestions were positively taken aboard, together we can move it forward.

I didn't go in, I just sat outside in the car. The better half went in to check on some medication I am waiting for but there is a global shortage so I'll have to wait for it.

A surgery like the majority that's having its fair share of issues. But, in my personal experience all the staff are trying their hardest. We're in a pandemic so I suppose we all have to learn to be a little more patient and understanding. I've had quite good service from the staff .
