    My father spent the last 2 months of his life at Hillbro, he was treated with kindness, respect and dignity throughout his stay. The room was lovely and always kept clean and tidy. His clothes and sheets were changed on a daily basis. I cannot fault the staff for their patience and kindness and would like to pass on mine and my family’s gratitude for everything they did for him.

    Currently, Jason Berry, the director of Holden Grange, is deliberately blocking in two elderly visitors to one of your residents, as he does not like them. So, my question is, are the residents of Holden Grange Care Homes allowed to have guests of their choice, or will management select who visits them? I look forward to your response.

    My husband has been a resident at Hillbro for 18 months including a stay in hospital, which happened after just week in the home. During his four month stay in hospital I was assured that he would be returning to Hillbro as this was his home. Since he returned just before the lockdown started last year they have care for him with love and compassion and he is very content and happy there. The staff from the owner to the care staff go above and beyond to care for the residents and keep them safe during this pandemic. They care for the residents a and their love ones keeping us up to date and involving us in decisions. I wouldn’t want my husband to be anywhere else now he can’t be at home with me.

    My mum is currently a resident at Hillbro and has been there for the last 2.5 years. All the staff take time out to talk to you and make you feel welcome. It is spotlessly clean. My mum is very well cared for. Even though she is no longer able to communicate, the staff get her out of bed everyday so that she can spend time with residents and watch what is going on. I am so happy that we chose Hillbro over other homes. Thanks to all the staff

    Personal Review Whilst checking the CQC score for this home on the website, it came to our family's attention that our deceased Mum's bedroom with all her private personal possessions & very private family Photos were on this website without our family's knowledge, we certainly didn't give permission or was it sought by the home, as you can imagine this has caused great distress to the family as our beautiful mum passed away in August 2020. this just shows the lack of compassion & disrespect this home has towards bereaved families. We would suggest if this home wants to advertise their rooms on a website, our family would prefer you use your own staged photographs & props. this certainly wasn't the only issue with this home, this has caused great pain to our family & our Mum's privacy. We certainly would not recommend this home. The Roddy family ( daughters)

    No confidentiality regarding families of residents in the home. We lost our mum and would prefer not to have put a review on its not the way we was brought up. But to find out you have shown disrespect and speak of residents outside the home very hurtful. Please show more respect after all isn't it your job!!
