  Taj is the worst instructor I have ever met. Lazy and eager for money. He was always late for the class or canceled my class last minute.

  Passed at Hendon at first attempt, all thanks to Richard's transformative instruction. The man will not give up till you lose bad driving habits, and I had so many. May seem overbearing at times, especially if like me you weren't used to safe considerate driving, but bear with it, trust Richard, he knows what he is doing, and you won't regret it. I've booked a few lessons with George as well, at short notice, when Richard wasn't available. Special thanks to him for adding confidence to my multi-lane roundabouts, and tricky traffic lights. George manages to be both chill and demanding at the same time. Amazing! The school's admin was super efficient helping me, where possible, shift the booked slots due to my circumstances. Very professional, straightforward and helpful. No funny business. Thank you Jiji and Roberto, apologies if I'm misspelling the names.

  Learning how to drive with Richard from The Holborn Driving School was a blast! He's not only a hilarious and amazing person, but also a patient and supportive instructor who made the learning process a breeze. I'd recommend him to anyone who wants to learn how to drive, and I'm pretty sure he can even teach a cat to drive (as long as the cat has a valid provisional driving licence of course)

  I had a test in two weeks and my last driving instructor said I was not ready so Holborn School of Motoring gave me a driving instructor named Khurram who went out of his way to teach me at last minute within those two weeks and I passed with no faults. I highly recommend you choose Khurram to be your driving instructor.

  I had an instructor called Taj and he’s one of the worst instructors I’ve had. He was such a money hungry person that will just make me drive in roads without teaching me manoeuvres he once tried making me do 3 hour lessons 4 days a week and wanted me to pay him 1.5k within that month. He’s is a really terrible driving instructor who just doesn’t care about how u improve and just wants his money. He always cancels and reschedules and then cancels again which indicates that’s he’s not a appropriate driving instructor There was also one lesson I did with him which the tire of the wheel was deflated and he spent my whole 2 hour lesson pumping the wheel. That’s £60 down the drain with this guy I finally found a better instructor who actually puts time and effort unlike taj and I finally have more confidence unlike taj who used to shout and scream alot Don’t go to TAJ! he’s a money hungry driving instructor that’s doesn’t care about you improving

  I did lessons with Taj, and had a great experience! He is a great instructor, always keeps calm and made me feel confident and comfortable whilst driving. I felt extremely prepared for the test, and he even took me on the routes that I did during my test. I was able to pass my practical my first time thanks to Taj. I highly recommend!!

  I was a total beginner and learned with one of the instructors - Taj - and he was fantastic he taught me the basics to the more advanced manoeuvres and I ended up passing first time with ease thanks to him

  Just passed my driving test first time today!! Taj is the best instructor you can ask for! I was a total beginner when I came to Holborn School and I never had a single boring lesson with Taj. He is very attentive to details and showed so much care and support during my learning. Thank you Taj for everything! You are THE best instructor!!

  Passed my driving test first time today with just 3 minors thanks to Rob. He is an excellent teacher, extremely patient, calm and professional. I genuinely really enjoyed my lessons with him and would recommend Holborn School of Motoring to anyone. Always punctual and reliable, I couldn't have asked for better. I will miss our lessons!

  ROSEY ZAMAN is the worst instructor ever. Here is why you should NEVER ask for the female instructor at Holborn driving school: 1) She made me pay the standard price for a 1 hour lesson even after being half an hour late and only allowing me to have a half hour lesson! 2) No credit card system. I had to pay the instructor in cash, in the car with no system logging the amount I gave her each lesson. She used this to her advantage and claimed to “not have any change” and insisted she would give it in the next lesson - which she did not. 3) BEWARE- Not always, but often you will be made to drive to her next students pick up point and then sit at the back while the next student drives to your drop of point. Totally weird and unnecessary. The same thing will happen at the start of your lesson, where you will be expected to drive with another student at the back (awkward as hell). That is, if she is not late. 4) I’ve seen another review saying this too so I know I’m not the only one. If you don’t live in grays inn road or the neighbouring streets, you will be expected to make your own way there. She could at least say she doesn’t cover my area, but no, like the other reviewer, I had to take the bus every time I had a lesson, which sometimes took longer than the actual lesson :/ 5) She questioned my personal choices. On one occasion, she tried to make conversation by asking who I’m voting for (there was an election that week) which I thought was a bit personal. Anyway after I said, she started telling me all of the candidates worst qualities and why I should change my mind. Didn’t appreciate that at all. 6) She was constantly on the phone to her family and hardly assisting me with my driving. It made me extremely uncomfortable as she was often arguing with them. 7) Terrible communication. She would take extended time off and not notify me. I would be left with weeks of no lessons. 8) I only learnt the basics of starting the car and pulling out in the 4-5 months I was with the school. I joined AA straight after leaving this school. My new instructor was shocked at how little I knew after months of lessons and said that my old instructor was clearly not teaching me well. Learnt more with my new instructor that with my Holborn one in much less time! Bottom line: Avoid the female instructor at all costs. I’ve seen a positive review about her here, but I have to say it’s far from the experience I had. The user “Ellen Ramese” had an experience more similar to mine. I honestly don’t know what they were thinking hiring her. *originally posted over a year ago but edited*
