My primary GP is St Philips Medical Centre. I was sent to the sister practice - Holborn Medical Centre - for an appointment on Sat 13 May after being discharged from the hospital with post partum preeclampsia after my first born. I am a new mother and breastfeeding and came in with my newborn for my blood pressure to be checked and follow up on the preeclampsia. It was my first journey with my baby. I was 12 minutes late for my appointment and was shown such little compassion by the receptionist and doctor - Dr Aniruthan Renukanthan. They were incredibly dismissive, unfriendly and not understanding at all. I understand I was late but they showed no grace or helpfulness in trying to still see me or help me set up an alternative appointment. A little kindness and flexibility in that moment would have gone a long way.

They rejected my application to register at the GP for no valid reason, and the lady that gave me the outcome on the phone was rude and didn’t want to explain to even give a brief reason or any reason at all as to why my application is rejected, even thought I had waited for this outcome for a month and I had explained why I am wanting to join this gp. And in my case time of the essence. Yet they didn’t even apologise or explain why it took them so long to say no to me at the end????

I suffer from ECZEMA i was using some cream which I found online it helped me alot recently they stopped doing this and now my eczema gone worse I tried some cream from pharmacy over the counter thats not helping either. i can’t sleep at night for itchyness and i need stronger cream as pharmacist advised me only doctor can give me! I POPPED INTO RECEPTION FOR APPOINTMENT RECEPTIONISTS SAID THERE IS NO APPOINTMENT CALL AFTER 30MINS I TRIED CALLING FROM WORK NO ONE ANSWERED!! I CALLED AGAIN NEXT MORNING 9.30 I KNOW THAT TIME THEY TAKE EMERGENCY APPOINTMENT AGAIN RECEPTIONIST TELLING ME THERE IS NO APPOINTMENT I REQUESTED CAN YOU JUST TELL ANY DOCTOR TO RING ME JUST FOR 2MINS I JUST WANTED CREAM MAYBE THEY HAVE MY PREVOUSE PRESCRITIONS ON THE SYSTEM SHE STILL REFUSED. I BEEN TRYING TO GET APPOINTMENT FOR A WEEK STILL COULDNT GET ANY! ABSOLUTELY AWFUL SERVICE FROM GP THIS DAYS!!! I NEVER GO TO GP UNLESS ITS REALLY ARGENT if something minor i just go pharmacy and buy over the counter. People don’t go to gp for funn. NO WONDER WHY THIS PRACTICE HAS SUCH A POOR REVIEWS!! I’m changing my GP will move to brunswick centre as i heard good feedback about them.

I’ve received such great care by GP’s at this practice. The doctors genuinely care and are attentive and check in as well. If I could rate Holborn medical practice any higher I would. It’s also excellent that they have an out of catchment area policy so they are able to reach and treat far more patients (wish more GP practices had this policy). Finding doctors that genuinely hear your concerns and will pursue many different avenues to try and sort the issue at hand is so rare all the GP’s here have taken my symptoms and health very serious whether it’s something as simple as routine blood work to keep on top of my health they do that and more. Thank you very much

This clinic will not add me to their patient list for more than 3 weeks now. I visited them more then 5 times. They started with 1 week, then I was told by different people that it can take up to 2 weeks, now it is more then 3 weeks and it still hasn’t been done. They said something about responsible person getting sick, but why is there only one person who knows how to do it and can do it? Why if this person gets sick ALL OTHER PEOPLE should wait for a month or more to receive their treatment? I can not imagine any system that is less efficient and more incompetent than this one. Relying on this clinic, you are more likely to get too sick and eventually go to the emergency services or gradually heal without any treatment and with possible chronic outcomes, then get an appointment with a GP. Unbelievable and absolutely unacceptable.

Awful. If you want to squander your time, here is the place to do it; nevertheless, the telephone receptionist is really unpleasant. I'm not sure what she meant by her remark. They said they would surely assist me get to the hospital a day before, but when I phoned them on the day, they abruptly altered their appointment. A completely enigmatic system with an arbitrary timetable. It's really untrustworthy. If you are currently really ill, do not go to this hospital. It is not something I endorse.

Completely and utterly useless system, I have had great doctors from here but I have tried to resolve an issue with my repeat prescriptions for a year and nothing has happened. I have wasted hours on the phone to this practice only to be given told that the issue was my fault and that the meds I have been taking for over a YEAR, I have actually only been taking for a month. I have gone through their system in every way to try and resolve this issue but gave had to end up getting emergency prescriptions twice. Completely incompetent, rude, and unsympathetic. DO NOT USE THIS GP
