Stay clear. From start to finish they ruined my moms funeral. Wrong music was played at crematorium and it seemed unorganised. They forgot to take a lock of my moms hair to name but a couple of things they did. They even failed to inform me when my moms ashes were to be picked up. Apologies are useless when all you want is to send off your loves ones piecefully and stress free.

After loosing my mom and my nan within weeks of each other and in this awful pandemic I was dreading organising one funeral let alone two my moms was with the coop and nans hodgson I have to say Hodgsons were far better the staff were aware of our situation and were totally amazing and helpful through out the care and attention on the day of the funeral from there staff was second to non and mona was amazing through out I couldn’t recommend them enough Thankyou so much Lynn

Hodgson and Sons took care of all the planning of our mother’s funeral with great care and sympathy. They discussed all the options available to us and did everything possible to make sure that the preparations went as smoothly as possible. The staff are very sympathetic and courteous, and looked after other members of the family who visited them, making them very welcome. The day itself was understandably emotional for all the family, but Hodgsons staff made things so much more bearable for us with the smooth and friendly way they arranged and carried out their duties. We as a family could not have asked for anything more, and would certainly recommend them.
