THE TRUTH ABOUT HHGS. Went here from 2014-2019. Most Asian parents who send their daughters here believe they will get a good education and that they won’t be involved with boys. Let me tell you. You’re wrong. The school has outdated rules. Such as if you enter the gates but enter the doors late then you’re classed as late. The girls who I knew that left here were not around guys when they were in secondary school and now they see guys and a rare occurrence. They chase guys more than people who attend mixed schools. The schools head of years have changed. They don’t care about mental health. They lack any understanding, empathy and knowledge on how to tackle bullying. They are extremely biased and do NOT represent British Values which they are meant to uphold as senior members of staff. The councillor who I had at the time whilst as this secondary school was named Helen Dixon. She is racist. I didn’t wear a headscarf so she thought it was appropriate to speak down about niqabs and abayas. She lacks professionalism and is constantly talking about her own personal life rather than tackling issues which need attending to. Went to her for 4 years and barely scratched the surface on issues which needed attention. The good teachers have left. Please don’t have the thought that the teaching is good anymore because it’s not. They don’t value students either. We weren’t allowed to get our shirts signed by our peers as it looked ‘unprofessional’ which is ridiculous that we weren’t allowed to enjoy our last days at this secondary school. People who did this got detentions. We weren’t allowed to give our goodbyes to our teachers on our last day. After the final assembly we were treated badly and told to leave the site so we do not disrupt current students. The girls here LOVEEEE to gossip. They bully other girls and it’s such a toxic culture. Your child will be traumatised if they attend this secondary school. Kind regards, A former HHGS student

Absolutely horrible. Lack of attention to bullying and pulling a lot of blind eyes on the pupils. More drama than actual studying. No encouragment and pupils ar getting into physical fights. Don't go to this school it will ruin your child.
