After emailing Hobs Repro Farringdon numerous times requesting a quote for my portfolio and a research booklet to be printed and receiving no answers, I attempted calling. Mike, a former employee suggested it would be best if I went in store to discuss my portfolio further. After leaving I was happy with a the quote and a date to send the art work. I sent the work on the date and followed up with a call: "Your work is on the queue and a final quote will be sent to you to confirm your requirements." After failing to send the quote, I called them the day after and they asked me to wait until the end of the day for the quote they were meant to send the day before. My deadline was only 2 days after. Panicking I sent my work to another printers, and luckily it was printed on time for my hand in. I followed up with an email explaining my frustrations to Hobs Repro and I have never received a reply. Any students out there, please be aware of this company. Don't risk your academic achievements on people who clearly only care about business. What I'm still wondering today is why accept to print my portfolio and then ignore all contact.
