I’ve made a formal complaint but over a month ago I had issues when I asked to send a letter by recorded delivery first class. I was told no such thing, when I described a service I’d used before I was told this was ‘tracked’ and they seemed very upset I was sending it by tracked only. Even asking me what it was I was sending. Today I went again and used their words tracked first class. I was with my toddler and distracted and again looking at receipt I saw they put it through as special delivery. Which is over double the price, it’s caused me issues as we actually don’t want the person to sign for it, more excuses why they didn’t receive it. Just tracked that it got there and through the door. It’s not on they keep overcharging and purposefully not wanting to give any other service.

This is one of the most spiritual post offices I’ve visited... and I’ve visited a lot. I made sure I was fasted upon arrival and after meditating for 30 minutes in the queue I realised I had not got an envelope. I asked the guru at the counter what types of envelopes they had and she replied ‘they only have one’. In that moment I knew we were all one. We are all connected. I then paid for my envelope with a £20 note and again the wise guru replied “don’t you have any change” and in that moment I knew I did not have to change, I am perfect the way I am. Thank you for my spiritual awakening. I’m planning on spending a few days there next time.

This post office only closes 1 till 2 for lunch hour when there is only one member of staff on. I'm sure they need a lunch break, there is always a notice up well in advance to inform customers. So definatly not random hours as previously stated in a review. It has been open from 9 till 5.30 throughout this pandemic so closing for lunch breaks on a few days is quite understandable .

Honestly a night mare, the person serving me called Jenny made me pay again even though I have already paid through online. And had everything sorted out and the right size as I measured everything accordingto online. What annoyed me was i had a large letter that had lose stuff inside, she shook the letter so everything was sitting on one side and tried putting it through the example letter box. Then said "Sorry can't accept it" Never had a problem befor dropping stuff off. She was working alone while the line was all the way outside. I understand why the line was so long. She was finding excuses for people to pay more for postage.

Rubish, They lost my parcel, which had my travel document on it and didn’t even care at all when i went back to ask them please look if maybe you left it somewhere without giving it to the driver. They basically ruined my travelling and my life even thou i paid special delivery they still lost my envelope. Even its very close to my house will never use them and will not let my family or friends use them. Way toooo dissappointed

Parcel taken back to hobs moat post office as I wasn't home, when I try to pick it up the post office is closed cause the lazy, feckless counter worker had called in sick, abysmal service as usual Royal Mail, why can't you just leave MY property in my safe front porch like all the other proper delivery companies do?
