Really rude staff, after waiting 45 minutes to answer the phone for an appointment they then tell you to ring again the following day and put the phone down on you. Very rude staff, need training on patient service.

If I could give 0 stars I genuinely would...I understand this is not a problem with the Staff at the practice, this is directed at the management and owners of the practice! Myself nor my partner have been able to secure any appointments this year at all or even get any of her repeat prescriptions authorised! Why is it impossible to book in advance?...Why is every person expected to be on the phone at 08:30 in the morning to try and beat each other for an opportunity to be seen by a GP! What sort of system is this? I didn't realise we were in the hunger games and competing against each other for a slot to be graced by a GP's presence! This really is appauling! The management team of this practice need to give much more support then they currently are, and start making positive change, or very clearly state that the practice will no longer be taking bookings unless you can win Hobs Moat Bingo every morning from 08:30! We have to go through 111 every time and then wait in the Hospitals or just not recieve any repeat prescriptions again because the Doctor is unavailable to give the green light! What on earth is happening with this practice! I just spent an hour on the phone again to be told there are no appointments, try another day. (I was not even asked what the condition was or if it was urgent! Just that they cannot do anything for me, so try again another day!) Great so now we live in a world were you can only book a Doctors appointment if you are lucky and are available every day at 08:30 to try and call them up for an hour or more (and lets hope it doesn't automatically kick you from the queue which happens almost every other attempt). You say you offer urgent appointments but this is false as I have never been offered this nor have I been able to request one! Genuinely so disappointed and frustrated with this practice, you were once so good...award winning in fact, sadly that is a distant memory from what exists today!

Ok during Covid was tough. Phones were constantly busy not because as some people suggested , the phone is ignored. Phones were busier due to surgery being closed. Staff were off themselves with Covid. If you got to talk to a GP and needed to be seen, you got seen. I have always had good service here. The receptionists are just doing their job often with not enough staff, not their fault. As well as answering phones to the public, they answer phones to other health professionals., process prescriptions, scanning, filing, processing reports and patient records requests, registering new patients, dealing with emails, post duties. And the list goes on and often for minimum wage and listening to terrible verbal abuse and while folks are abusing medical staff the harder it is to get people to do the job

Just want to say what a fantastic experience I've had here recently. The receptionist are always polite, understanding and very hardworking. I've had multiple appointments with Dr Anant Malde who has been an absolute delight. Great listener, very understand, kind and professional. Truly feels like he cares about his patients and its so refreshing to see. I'd been in a bad place for years and thanks to the team here, I'm finally starting to see a happy future for myself. Thank you guys, keep up the amazing work 💪

Best GP surgery, responsive, caring staff and GP's. I was seen at least 3 times face to face during lockdown. Keep up the great work you are all doing to serve our local community!

I have nothing but praise for this surgery. If you are poorly and need to be spoken to or seen, you will be. I saw Dr Williams here and after examining me she was insistent that I go to to the hospital, even though I was reluctant. Thankfully I listened and she gave me a letter to take to Heartlands. The next day I had emergency potentially life saving surgery!!! Following my discharge from hospital I was concerned, and called the surgery to explain my worry. A paramedic from the surgery called me back and within an hour or so I was in front of a doctor. So, as far as I am concerned the doctors here are extremely caring, professional and the receptionists do their very best to help you and get you seen as quickly as they can. I certainly would not want to go anywhere else.

Can be a bit hit and miss getting an appointment but the doctors are all good. Parking can be difficult sometimes.

Having visited Hobbs Moat with unbearable lower back and leg pain, i was seen by Dr Malde who dealt with me in a most professional and caring way. Dr Malde has maintained contact with me through out my illness and continued even whilst i was Hospitalised to advise and more importantly care.
