I have been suffering from gout for last few weeks and had an appointment at 10am for a blood test. I was kept waiting for well over an hour although I was in excruciating pain from the gout which quite obvious from my limping. I was given no apologies for waiting rather was told that there's nothing that can be done to see me quicker. Patients who came in later were seen before me. Very disappointed with service here. Also have not had a medication review inspite of having a heart condition as I found out a week later that I should not be having aspirin if I am taking gout medication. I felt totally ignored. Not once did the receptionist apologise for the wait. What sort of service is this???

I had an appointment with nurse Saemira and I am very pleased with how it went. She was very attentive, made me feel at ease and gave me helpful tips to improve my wellbeing, which I am thankful for. Very kind and professional lady. The receptionists in Hobmoor Surgery are very polite and helpful. Thank you!

I am new to the surgery but they have been nothing short of amazing. I have finally been able to deal with issues that have been long ignored. Special shout-out to Megan for being wonderful always and for singlehandedly removing my fear of blood tests!

I would give 0 stars if I could. Absolute waste of time. Should be closed down. Leave people without medications despite requesting prescriptions weeks before and calling 4 times a day. They just tell you what you want to hear to get you off the phone and do nothing afterwards. Do not use this surgery waste of NHS resources.

Ridiculous policy for bookings, called 3 times and always told try again tomorrow. Claim that it's working really well but I doubt it is, no one I know that goes there seems to be happy. Even the local pharmacy recommended a different doctors surgery. That says it all. In a response the surgery claim they've conducted survey whereby most feedback was positive. What was response rate for survey? How do you know answers were honest or accurate. I mean you question my going off "hearsay" why don't you consider 2.9 out of 5 on google reviews as a marker for where you are at.

I would like to thank the receptionist Moyram for helping with my mom on the 8th April. We were really worried regarding her condition & Moyram sent a message to the doctor, arranged an urgent care & routine appointment. She also called us back, as she promise with advice from the GP. I know medical receptionists sometimes get a raw deal but they honestly try under difficult circumstances. Mom has now had further tests & xrays & getting the care she needs. Thank you Moyram 😊

These doctors don’t seem to think they have any duty of care. They say medication isn’t due when it is and leave patients without vital medications for up to 3 day over the weekend. When they decide you can’t have your medication, they don’t even tell you they just ignore your request and hope you suffer in silence. I have since had a son and they are just as bad with kids. On Fridays I made an appointment and they said it had to be over the phone, they didn’t call.y sons cough got a lot worse over the weekend and especially Sunday night so I called 111 at 7am to make sure a request for cough medicine went in before the clinic started but they choose to leave then until after clinic. What does he do for that first hr then when the doctors is open but not to the patients? I think it’s disgusting! Doctors are actually supposed to care about their patients especially the kids but it is clearly just a job like any other to theses doctors, they don’t feel a duty of care. Patients might as well be cardboard boxes being packed in a factory, we are not treated with compassion by anyone that works for this surgery. A kid with a chronic cough, “you just wait 5 hrs for medicine because that’s the how they do things here!” It’s sick really, it’s just a business, not somewhere you trust to put your or you children’s health first.
