Despite the really extensive refurbishment underway it doesn't detract from the experience. Audio commentary is excellent. As someone with limited mobility it is not the easiest place to get around. If you can cope with the ladder staircases then you have to try. There is ramp access to one of the gun decks. The refurb has five more years to go! The finished article will be more new than original but it is an amazing thing and a highlight of any trip to the dockyard

As part of our return visit on our Ultimate Explorer ticket we spent our time exploring HMS Victory. Well worth discovering this piece of British maritime history. Audio guide is very helpful and doesn't distract from everything to see. Had the option also of seeing some of the restoration close up as part of the Restoration Live exhibit.
