I needed urgent advice on a recommendation by a consultant (38 weeks pregnant and told I needed an induction before my due date as there's nothing else wrong other than the estimated weight of my baby was 'too big'). Claire was able to talk to me for an hour the same day I contacted her. She provided lots of useful information (research, questions to ask before making my decision, useful contacts and links). Cannot recommend Claire (or a credible independent midwife) enough when something doesn't feel right with the decision you're being asked to make. It's not a case that I was against anything, I simply didn't understand the reasoning I was being given by the consultant. I wanted to speak to an independent midwife to either confirm the consultants recommendation (and I would understand why), or provide some useful insight to help me clarify the decision to be made at my next appointment.
