It looks lovely now it's been done up. The staff are very helpful. Facilities are so nice and having the lovely new Museum next door makes so much sense. The hall looks perfect for weddings, they have paid so much attention to detail restoring the stage area. The organisation is exceptionally well run and the Manager is so passionate about the place. Please keep in mind that they still don't allow the kitchen to be used by out of house caterers. They do have a chef who can cater your party, but if you are trying to cater for e.g your Culture and want a specific chef or cook, they can't use the kitchen here. You can however bring cold food and serve it and they are very adventous with making the space as usable as possible so please contact Katie to discuss your needs.

For an old venue, Hitchin Town Hall has pretty good acoustics. The non-fixed seating is comfortable and allows for some adjustment should your neighbours be of a different proportion. Two bars were operating but understaffing caused the queues for both to merge and block the only entrance before the performance ( A very good ELO tribute band which we both enjoyed ).
