Came here for a Murder Mystery Evening and stayed overnight. The building itself is very much ‘faded glory’ but it has nice grounds and is in a great location. Dinner, however, was very average, with my red snapper main course being dry and tasteless. I’m sure that the bedrooms in the main building and cottages are very nice, but our room was in Priory Court, which resembled a care home. Saying that, it was large, clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was again pretty average. All the staff, however, were really nice and friendly, otherwise this may have been a 2-star review.
