My fiancé and I booked to stay at this convenient location for business. After a 5 hour drive we expected to be able to rest and unwind but were sadly greeted with a moldy bathroom and a smashed bug on the pillow, that I’m hoping wasn’t a bed bug. Reception was helpful getting us into the next room with no questions asked about the bug. The next rooms linens were stained pretty badly with possibly blood and lots of mold in wall corners and shower. The halls smelled like smoke, the room furniture is pretty beat up and there was pee around bottom of the toilet. We were there maybe 30 minutes before we requested a refund and had to quickly scout out a better accommodation. We didn’t feel comfortable staying in any of the rooms there, out of fear of sleeping in an unclean bed. The lovely employee who assisted us was super helpful processing the refund and was apologetic for the situation. Overall the situation was pretty upsetting since my fiancé grew up having nostalgic memories staying in travelodge as a kid. This situation has put us off for good. If you can, spend the extra money and book a cleaner hotel.
