  We used Hireaband to book The Trueloves for our wedding at The Caves in Edinburgh on 04.09.2022. After reviewing multiple bands on the website, Hireaband made the process so easy to coordinate from the USA.   I think the biggest testament to any band is when the dance floor is never empty and I don’t think there was any point where people were sat down. People even rushed to the dance floor during the sound check! When we booked Sneaky Treacle it was as a result of their set list, a huge variety of music genres including a song which is very personal to us and not commonly played at weddings. This made our decision so easy and we hoped for the best. The band surpassed all of our expectations and were one of the biggest talking points of our day - everyone loved them. The variety of music played, the energy from the band and their patience with a predominantly English crowd trying to do a ceilidh was amazing! By the end of the night, people were asking us who the band were for any future events and didn’t want them to finish! They honestly made our evening reception more than we could have asked for and we did not stop smiling. We cannot thank Sneaky Treacle enough for making our wedding the biggest celebration and bringing so much happiness, joy and laughter to everyone on the day! THANK YOU SO MUCH!   Highly recommend ! We would like to say a huge thank you to the band Scotia. We had an incredible evening and the entertainment was perfect. Many of our guests had never been to a ceilidh and they all loved it. The DJ set with Grant was outstanding. It simply was perfect and exactly what we wanted, everybody from the kids to great uncles were up and dancing.

  The entire hire-a-band service was excellent, with really clear communication, helping us to find the right band and being available to answer any questions we might have ahead of time. We booked the "Sultans of Fling", who were amazing - so easy going and a genuine pleasure to have run the Ceilidh and Disco for our wedding. They were quick to respond and easy to chat with in the run up to our event, so we were confident they would do a smashing job. And boy did they deliver! They arrived early, and were set up well on time. The Ceilidh was brilliant, running all of our favourite dances and getting everyone up dancing, with Scott calling all the steps. They even let us use their PA to run a disco playlist for the rest of the evening after the ceilidh - which worked very well. We could not recommend them higher.

  Hireaband is the best in the business. We used their services to hire Sultans of Fling for our original wedding date in 2020, which was then postponed to 2022. For two years, they kept us informed and honoured our original booking. They coordinated with the band and the wedding entertainment went smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better service.

  Cassien were brilliant from day 1 and the service from Hireaband was excellent. Jack from Cassien was a pleasure to work with and he answered every question we asked. So very friendly. On the day, Cassien were outstanding. The first dance was exactly what we wanted, that definitely got the place jumping! and we even got a 2nd first dance after the buffet which was a lovely surprise. The dance floor was full all night and they really know how to work the crowd. There was a bit in the set for everyone! Everyone commented that it was the best wedding band they have heard and the best wedding they have been to. The band are all so talented and friendly and I would definitely recommend booking them for your wedding. We can’t thank Jack and the band enough for making our wedding day so perfect.   Had an agreement for a ceilidh set for 30 mins from picked band. When asked to play this we were told they hadn't brought musician they needed so nothing they could do. Felt let down as part of agreement and even hireabands director just brushed this issue off. :(

  Hireaband we’re so helpful and organised from start to finish. They kept us up to date and made everything so straightforward. The band were INCREDIBLE!! So so many people have said Borrowed Blues were the best wedding band they’d ever heard - even better than their own band! The music was amazing from start to finish. Our first dance hadn’t been played by the band before but they learned it no problem and it was absolutely perfect. This was our third wedding date thanks to covid and I’m so glad it worked out this way so we could find this band! They are amazing! The band were so chilled out and really easy to get in touch with. A massive thank you for making our wedding a party to remember!

As a result of the hard work put in by Del, Lisa, Gaye, Karen and Rachel, we have been able to focus all of our energy onto providing a top level service for our clients.
